Impex Furniture UK Trade Portal has been created to give UK retailers, wholesalers, distributors and ecommerce sellers access to carefully selected furniture manufacturers through one trade-only platform.
As an experienced importer with a long background in furniture retail, and now focused on factory-direct container deals for trade buyers, we have invested significant time, travel and resources into visiting suppliers, reviewing product ranges, building factory relationships and selecting reliable manufacturing partners for the UK market.
Our aim is to remove much of the hard work from direct importing. Buyers can browse hundreds of products and plan mixed or shared container programmes without having to source suppliers, travel overseas, negotiate with multiple factories or manage the full import process alone.
There is no obligation to buy when browsing products, building a container or submitting a reservation request. Our trade team will contact you to discuss your requirements and confirm the best available deal before any order proceeds.
Unlike a retail website, prices on this portal are not fixed checkout prices. Each product is linked to live manufacturing costs, freight rates, exchange rates, import charges and UK delivery conditions.
To help trade buyers assess products, calculate margins and plan container programmes, prices are shown as Estimated UK Delivered Prices based on average freight and exchange rates.
We work on direct container supply and tight trade margins to offer competitive deals. Because freight, fuel costs, exchange rates and seasonal shipping conditions can change, the final delivered price may be slightly higher or lower than the portal estimate.
Final pricing is always confirmed before order approval, deposit payment or invoice issue. No order is confirmed and no payment is required until the final quotation and payment terms have been agreed with you.

Many of our container programmes fill quickly on a first come, first served basis. We send stock availability updates, new container deals and ready stock alerts directly to registered buyers via WhatsApp before they are advertised on our portal.
Once approved, you can view factory direct delivered prices across our verified supplier collections, active container programmes and ready stock options.
Delivered prices shown on the portal include UK import duty and customs clearance. All prices are shown excluding VAT.
Prices are accurate at the time of listing and are reviewed regularly. However, final prices may vary slightly before deposit due to changes in freight rates, exchange rates, supplier costs or container availability. We make every effort to honour the advertised prices and keep portal prices updated as closely as possible.
Select products from the same supplier collection and reserve units against an active container programme. You can mix models, colours and finishes within your reserved quantity, subject to supplier MOQ, production availability and container capacity.
Most container programmes allow flexible colour splits, so you are not stuck with a fixed assortment. You can build your order around the products, colours and quantities your customers actually buy.
Special requirements before reserving: if you have any special packaging requirements, custom carton printing, private label or branding requests, please get in touch with us before submitting your reservation. We can confirm feasibility and pricing with the supplier upfront, which avoids delays and adjustments once your order is in production.
When your reservation is ready, submit your order through the portal. Minimum half container requirement applies to most container programmes unless stated otherwise.
If your requirement is below the minimum quantity, please contact us or submit a custom enquiry through the portal. We will do our best to accommodate smaller requirements where possible.
After your order is reviewed and accepted, we will issue a proforma invoice confirming product details, quantities, payment terms, estimated delivery timeline and any order-specific notes.
A 30% deposit is due within 3 working days of the proforma invoice to secure your production slot, container allocation or stock reservation.
Full terms and conditions are provided with your proforma invoice before deposit payment.
Once your deposit is received, the factory order is placed or your container allocation is confirmed.
You can track key updates through your dashboard, including production status, loading progress, shipment, transit and estimated UK arrival and delivery to your premises.
The remaining 70% balance is due 10 days before the container arrives at the UK port, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Payment milestones may vary slightly depending on the supplier collection, production schedule or shipment type. Exact payment terms will always be confirmed on your proforma invoice.
We offer direct factory-to-door delivery where you act as the Importer of Record using your own EORI number and Postponed VAT Accounting.
In this case, no import VAT is payable to Impex Furniture UK. You account for import VAT directly through your own VAT return under the PVA system.
As Importer of Record, the goods are cleared through UK customs in your business name using your EORI number.
With Postponed VAT Accounting, VAT is not paid at the border. Instead, VAT is accounted for through your VAT return, which helps improve cash flow for VAT-registered UK businesses.
We can guide you through the process if you have not imported directly before.
After customs clearance, goods are delivered directly to your nominated UK address.
Delivery options may include full container delivery, half container delivery or agreed split delivery, depending on the order type, shipment route and supplier programme.
If you are looking for a product that is not currently listed in an active container programme, you can submit a custom enquiry through the portal.
Upload your reference images, dimensions, quantities, colours and any special requirements. We will work with our verified manufacturing partners to assess feasibility, pricing and lead time.
